Before the class begin, we had a trip to Fortress of Louisbourg, which is kind a famous national historic park in NS. This trip was for international students, it would better to say, for Chinese students......Anyway, this place was pretty good, combining historal story with natural beauty. I took picture with a really cute guy and also had a free lunch. 9月9日 ON MY WAY~ I hope it is not too late to say goodbye to Toronto, the NO.1 city in Canada. The latest 8 months, i lived there. I want to say thanks to the city bez it not only made my eyes open, but also gave me a chance to see, to learn, to think about the things i have not previously experienced. I loved Large-scale shopping malls, convenient Chineses food and supermarkets there; I enjoyed every colourful events and festivals and I missed every moment when i hung out with my friends. For me, all of these vivid things just like yesterday and now it will become a memory, a beautiful and unforgetable memory. As i just got more familar with the city, i left.
Our new school is in Nova Scotia, 2200km from Toronto. We decided to drive to there. In fact, It cost us 7 days, and totally 2700km to arrival at Sydeny. It took us so long because we visited to many famous places, in 5 different provinces. We left Toronto at 8am, 24th, AUG.
The first stop was Ottawa, which is Canada's capital city and the country's fourth largest metropolis. We spent more than 5 hours to get there. And then, we took a tour on the whole city, compared to Toronto, Ottawa was kinda small city, but the main street was very attractive. The Parliament building lied on the Parliament Hill, surrounded by Ottawa river. It was nice and beautiful view.
The next two days, we came to the French zone---Quebec. I think it was not the right season for us to come here. Fall is the best season in Montreal and quebec, there are numerous of maple trees with beautiful yellow and red leaves. Actually, i did not like Montreal at all. There were not many great places to go, only one church was not bad, some people were not that friendly to us, maybe we can not speak French was one of the reason, and the pace of the city was too fast, walking or driving. Quebec city was much better than Montreal. It was a pity that there was not plenty of time for us to tour and explore the whole city. I had to say that only the old-Quebec-city was absolutely worth to go.
On the fouth and the fith day, we came to the New Brunswick. It was really a long long trip from Quebec to NB, 7 hours, we almost spent the whole day in the car, tired and exhausted. In NB, we passed by the top three big cities...It was no exaggeration to say that the biggest city in NB was much smaller than one small town in Ontario. National park, NB falls and Hartland Covered Bridge were the only places we explored.
On the sixth day, we travelled to Prince Edward Island. PEI was my favourite part, it was the best place for a summer vacation. It will never tired for you to spend the whole day to admire the cobalt-blue sky and smell the fresh-mown grass. If it was not enough, you can lie on the beach and enjoy the feeling of the sea breeze in your face. Everg place in this island was fabulous and wonderful.
 In the afternoon of the seventh day, we arrivalled at our destination. To be honest, this place is way better than i thought before. This small town was a peaceful and quite place, not many immigrants here like other parts of Canada, local people were nice and warm......Unlike Toronto, living here is totally a difference experience and now i do not want to say many things about this place bez i have one whole year to live a life here. 8月18日 Aug 14-15Niagara Falls It would be a prefect journey at Niagara Falls if i did not lost all my photoes in my stupid camera. Niagara Falls absolutely were a wonderful place to go. One of the great treasures of the Canadian Falls is the view. Durning the daytime, we experienced Maid of the Mist Niagara Falls, 4D movie, Journey Behind the Falls and the White Water Walk. The great experiences gave us a chance to see the Falls as close as we could. Even in the evening, we got so many things to do. The Falls were colored by the colorful lights which were totally different view from the daytime. And then we went to Casino where was the first time i have been there in my life. Although it was not exactly the same in my mind. Kyle and i throwed 15 dollar in slots. We won about 10 dollar durning the gaming but at last we lose all the money. The conclusion is that most of people can not win in Casino. It is not a simple way to wealth. On the second day, we visited some interesting places of the town and took a tour on another famous town of Niagara. This was one of the most greatest journey to me, but it was a pity for losing all my beautiful photes  8月12日 Wasaga Beach It have taken us about 2 hours from Toronto to Wasaga Beach. All my roomies and the other 27 classmates were go there by a school bus. The beach was almost like seashore in China, but there are some differences from China. Firstly, the weather is not as warm as in China. The water was cold, and Canadians were not swim in the Lake, they just play some ball games or do other stuff in the water. Another different is that all the ladies are wearing bikinis even the old ones. I bet they have never seen Chinese swimming cloths. So weird.
All my friends ran into the lake and had a great time in the water,but i did not, i just laid on the beach and took some pictures. My arms were browned by the sun.  I hate this......On the way back, the view was so beautiful, the road was fringed with frams and houses. I have never seen this kind of landscapes in China. I was so regret that i waste all my time on playing porker on the coming way. When we got school, i went to the real Vietnam restaurant and tasted the famous rice noodle, just so-so.....Anyway, it was a great day. |
